When a blockage or drainage problem is underground, whether it is drains, gullies, pits or pumps, it can be hard to know really just what is the root cause. Excavation is one option, assuming you know exactly where to dig and that you are prepared for the possible consequences such as leaking sewerage, but frequently excavation is impracticable.
Suitable for pipes as narrow as 50mm, the envirocoHFS CCTV inspection service team uses video cameras to capture clear colour images that can make it easier to identify the problem, wherever it is in your drain, gully or manhole. envirocoHFS provide the results on CD-ROM with a report detailing the condition of the drains and identifying the location of the gullies and manholes.
We now have available to complement our equipment is an IBAK LISY a lateral inspection system, it can be deployed in 150 mm / 6 in. mainline pipes upwards and is a camera tractor for inspection of 100 mm / 4 in. laterals upwards. An integrated monitoring camera is used for continuous surveillance of the system's position. The articulated joint mounted on the camera tractor and the folding plug which moves around all axes facilitate introduction into pipes. Introduction of the camera into laterals is aided by a motor-driven pipe guide device and the monitoring camera. This camera is intrinsically safe and has been installed within a highly specified van which means we can deliver the final report immediately the survey has been completed.
