With more than 20,000 scouts based at Hylands Park, Chelmsford from all over the world, how or who do you call to move all the liquid waste? This was the dilemma that faced the organisers of such an event. With such a mammoth task Veolia ES was given this problem to solve. HFS whom have historically helped then with such projects was approached. Louise Wait was given the task to sort out and place some of the HFS fleet to comply with their request. Running along side other distinguished tankering firms the operation was a complete success.
HFS specialist cleaning team was sent up to Heysham, Lancashire to clean out contaminated fuel tanks in one of the off-shore gas rig supply boats. This job involved working in very cramped areas removing heavy oil residue. This job has been noted as one of the most difficult the team has undertaken to date.
