March 2009
March has been a very busy month for the Industrial service team.
Three main projects, one that required working in full BA due to the hazardous atmospheres for the internal cleaning of a boiler, the second which included large scale waste removal with all the logistics that go with this type of operation, and the third was a high profile culvert cleaning operation, which was in a brick culvert believed to date back and had not been cleaned since the 17th century, in the grounds of the Blickling Hall which is owned by the National Trust.
All of these projects were carried out safely, within budget for ourselves and more importantly our clients.
The long awaited Kaiser\Whale Water recycler had its first inspection at Whale Tankers. This was carried prior to it being sent to the spray shop to be stripped down and given the HFS colour treatment of Red and Green.
Isoquar revisited the offices to carry out our 6 month audit for ISO 9000:2001, to which we passed with flying colours. The HFS HSEQ Manager Russell Saville was seen walking around the office with a large smile on his face, his next project is OHSAS 18001.
