This month saw HFS become part of Enviroco Ltd. The acquisition strengthens Enviroco's industrial cleaning and bulk liquid haulage capabilities in England.
Along with the HFS staff that transferred to Enviroco on the 1st May 2009, Alister Wait, also transferred to Enviroco and became Industrial Services Manager (England).
Commenting on the acquisition Enviroco Managing Director, Dan Taylor said "We are delighted to have attracted HFS and its staff into the Enviroco family of operations. This move heralds the start of the provision of our own industrial cleaning services in England and will add further value to the wide ranging services that Enviroco currently offers its waste management and industrial cleaning customers. In Alister Wait, we have the right individual to drive the high growth aspirations that we have in this key market sector and I welcome Alister and his team to our business."
Alister Wait stated that the acquisition "Provides Enviroco with an industrial services business with the same passion for service that our joint customers have come to expect. We look forward to working together with Enviroco to achieve our ambitious growth plans".
We are sad to announce this month that Malcolm Ellwood has left the business as a result of ill health. Malcolm was the longest serving member of the HFS team and had been with us for 8 years. He looked after our septic tank customers and many of you will know him from that work. Malcolm will be missed by us all and we wish him all the best.
